Supporting The British Asian Trust
Whilst much of The Park Lane Group’s fundraising and giving is concentrated at a local and national level, we often consider overseas causes too.
So we were pleased to make a substantial donation to The British Asian Trust recently.
The British Asian Trust was set up by HRH The Prince of Wales in 2007 to do something about the widespread poverty and hardship he saw in South Asia. Today, it concentrates its efforts in India, Pakistan and Sri Lanka, working with women, children and young people in some of the poorest communities.
The organisation is focused on several key areas;
- abuse and exploitation
- education and training
- livelihoods and enterprise
- health and wellbeing
We’re proud to have contributed to their excellent work. If you would like to find out more about its work, you can visit: http://www.britishasiantrust.org/
