Pounds for Pens

The Park Lane Group has stepped in with a donation to purchase vital stationery supplies for The Backpack Project – part of the global movement ‘Marys Meals’- which supports families and children in Africa, many of whom have suffered famine, poverty, war or natural disaster.

The Backpack Project focuses on providing practical items to equip children for school using the simple ‘backpack’ as a starting point and filling it with pens, pencils, notebooks, crayons and many more items to which we are also adding a stock of encyclopaedias.
