Community: Management Accountant Vacancy
We are recruiting for a management accountant to join our Group finance team.

The right candidate will therefore be seeking a position with scope for growth and development. They will thrive in a fast-paced environment working dynamically as part of a close-knit team across all aspects of the Group’s companies.
Key Responsibilities
- Quarterly management accounts for multiple companies under The Park Lane Group company structure.
- Preparation of year-end accounts with our Financial Accountant for review by the Group FC.
- Annual budget preparations & spend monitoring for all business operations, inc. regular reporting of actual costs against budgets.
- Preparation of cashflow & analysis for our smaller entities, support for our FC on transaction analysis for larger cashflows.
- Preparation of financial reports on development costs.
- Weekly bank & inter-company reconciliations & monthly checking of trial balances.
- Preparation & analysis of rents vs costs across our property portfolio.
- Review overhead costs to seek efficiencies & negotiation of new contracts for improved value/cost savings.
- Preparation of income & expenditure reports for external landlords.
- Running budgets, reporting & cost monitoring for rental properties undergoing major refurbishment.
- Adhoc financial reporting & analysis to support management decision-making.
Qualifications / Skills
- ACA/ACCA/AAT qualified
- Experienced in Sage / other mainstream accounting software
- Extremely competent in Excel

- Sound critical analysis skills, initiative & ability to question data
- Good organisational skills & time management to prioritise workload
- Ability to work with colleagues at all levels
