Langney Community Library

We had the pleasure of popping in to Langney Community Library recently with a donation.

The Library is a registered charitable incorporated organisation (CIO) entirely run by volunteers. Since it established and opened its doors within Langney Shopping Centre, the team has made continuous improvements thanks to funding, donations and community support.

In addition to the main library space on the ground floor, a bright new community hub has now been created in the basement along with an accessible WC and kitchen area. We were thrilled to hear that our donation will go towards their fundraising efforts to install a new stair platform so that their new community hub space in the basement beneath the library accessible to everyone.

The Library is currently open Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday from 10am – 1pm (which will change as soon as Covid-19 permits). Its bright new hub space is also available to hire.
