Hurst Green & District CFR Funding

The Park Lane Group Community Give Away continues to reach a diverse range of groups and people. Among other pledges, we have supported Hurst Green & District Community First Responders this month.

The team welcomed a £1,500 cheque from The Park Lane Group which will fully kit out a responder and enable increased coverage of a rural area spanning Flimwell, Robertsbridge, Bodiam, Mountfield, Burwash, Etchingham, Ticehurst, Stonegate, Hawkhurst and Sandhurst.

After the purchase of medical equipment any left over funds will be used to provide training in CPR and the use of defibrillators to local community groups.

All members of the Hurst Green & District CFR are volunteers and typically have to fund their own kits through grants and local funding. The team has now been established for two years and responds to 999 calls within the area it covers.

We’re proud to be celebrating 30 years this year, having grown from a single property development in 1987 to become one of the largest independent housebuilders in the area.
