Eastbourne Rugby Club Sponsored Cycle

With a tough target of 1,200 miles on bike to raise £3,000 in sponsorship, Eastbourne Rugby Club met their challenge, completing 2,075 miles in 24 hrs on static bikes at the Club, raising £4,000.

The initiative was organised to enable the under 16s to go on tour this year and The Park Lane Group were pleased to pledge financial support to help them realise this. Last year, the team had to forego the tour as parents couldn’t afford to cover the cost. So, with the World Rugby Club on our doorstep this year, everyone has rallied – and pedalled hard – to make it happen.
