East Sussex Fire & Rescue Training

We were pleased to be of service to East Sussex Fire & Rescue this week. The Park Lane Group provided premises for use by the Blue Watch teams based at The Ridge and Bohemia Road in order for them to carry out training exercises.

The commercial premises in Middle Road, Hastings, feature offices and large warehouse units beyond, creating the perfect space in which to simulate an emergency situation.

The training initiative challenged the teams to tackle a smoke-filled disused building from which a number of people needed to be rescued.  The use of non-toxic artificial smoke and obliging dummies created the scene allowing the teams to go through rescue procedures, practice the use of guide lines and apparatus.
