Community: Student Site Visit

We recently had the pleasure of hosting a group of mature students from East Sussex College Group. The students, who are studying construction, visited our upcoming development of new homes in Eastbourne.

Spending time on-site to see how a development is managed, the trades involved and health & safety measures in practice, brings learning to life. Construction Director, Steve Foord, hosts small group talks regularly and sees huge value in doing so.

“I know that it helps supplement practical training and classroom learning from the questions we’re asked and the feedback after. And I recall how much I got from it when I started in my career. It’s a great sector to work in with so much opportunity. Meeting students on-site gives us a chance to show that and hopefully they leave feeling more inspired and informed with a clearer sense of the direction that’s right for them.”
