Rowing for Ru at the British Indoor Rowing Championships

The Park Lane Group got behind the ‘Scary Ladies’ this weekend with sponsorship and branded kit. The team of four from Issenhurst gym in Cross-in-Hand formed one of 21 teams taking part in a 4km relay at the British Indoor Rowing Championships to raise money for the charity Bloodwise, for young 5-yr old Ruben.
Ruben was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia in 2014 when he was just 20 months old. He has endured over 3 years of treatment which finishes on December 15th. With charities like Bloodwise doing the work they do, Ruben has fought cancer and started school in September this year.
Their simple appeal: “We need to help Bloodwise continue their good work by raising plenty of money. It is our way of saying thank you, it’s the least we can do. Please help and donate to this amazing cause” justgiving.com/fundraising/natalie-owen5
The Championships took place at the Olympic Velodrome in Lea Valley on Saturday 9th December. They are open to anyone in the UK from age 11 to 88 and saw Sir Bradley Wiggins participate this year, having been mentored by Olympian James Cracknell.

We’re proud to be celebrating 30 years this year, having grown from a single property development in 1987 to become one of the largest independent housebuilders in the area. Managing everything from property sales to our rental and maintenance service makes us a little different, but we believe it is our commitment to remaining local and serving the communities in which we also live and work that really sets us apart.
