Charity: PLG Supports Two Runners in the 2021 London Marathon

Amidst the thousands of runners that make up the London Marathon, this year’s event included Angela Garner.

Angela ran the 2021 London Marathon on behalf of the charity ‘Mankind’ and in memory of her late husband Steve Garner.

Mankind is a local Eastbourne-based mental health support group. This support group helps men who are experiencing mental health difficulties by providing a safe space to talk without judgement, along with counselling support.

Angela did an incredible job of completing the marathon alongside her friends, and was delighted to help the charity in raising much needed funds. The Park Lane Group were delighted to have assisted with supporting with this too.

Alongside Angela, The Park Lane Group were delighted to support sister of the CEO, Rachel Riley, in her participation in completing a virtual walking marathon. Rachel walked a gruelling 26 miles in 8.5 hours in aid of Tyme Valley Schools.
