Charity: Pinkerton’s Prosecco Van & A Special Group of Friends
Our very own Pinkerton’s of Park Lane Prosecco Van provided the perfect charity auction prize recently.
The Pickering Cancer Drop-in Centre in Tunbridge Wells black tie event to mark its 18th birthday was a fantastic fundraising opportunity.
Along with a £25,000 donation from The Park Lane Group, we offered Pinkerton’s packed full of prosecco as a silent auction prize. It was bid for by Dame Kelly Holmes who is a huge supporter of the charity and hosted a lucky group of friends to enjoy Pinkerton’s.
In total, the black-tie event raised an incredible £113,000 which help the Centre’s continued work as a self-funding charity.
Located on Monson Road in Tunbridge Wells, the Centre was established by a group of cancer patients who recognised the need for somewhere to go and be able to relax and talk with others in a similar situation. It also provides information and support for the families, friends and carers of children and adults with cancer.
