Charity: Marathon Challenge for Oliver

Marathon-novice Oliver Beswick has set an ambitious target to run six big runs in six months, starting with the Tunbridge Wells Half Marathon on 19th February and the Hastings Half Marathon on 26th March.
In completing six runs in as many months, he hopes to raise a substantial sum for St. Michael’s Hospice in St. Leonards.
Oliver, who is a Land Acquisition Consultant at The Park Lane Group, will be running in memory of several close relatives. His cousin, Robert, lost his battle with cancer in January 2021 aged 32, his grandad, Michael, who passed away in 2019, and his nan-in-law, who passed away at the Hospice in 2018.
St. Michael’s Hospice provides vital care and support for people requiring end-of-life care, and their families.
According to Lauren Beswick, Oliver’s wife, “The Hospice really helped my nan when she was diagnosed with breast cancer. The care she received was incredible. It gave my family valuable time with her before she sadly passed away.
“I’m so proud of Oliver for setting himself this challenge. It won’t be easy but we’ve both seen first-hand the vital work Hospices do. We’d love to raise as much money as we can.”
