Charity: PLG Supports Budding Athletes at HY Running Club

Helping local business and local causes has always been important to us here at The Park Lane Group, therefore it was only fitting when close friend and business connection, Dain Jenson from Kileys Karpets reached out to ask if we would assist financially to support HY Running Club; an initiative to enable as many budding young athletes and local children as possible the chance to run and train to the best of their ability.

Whether its just for fun, for health or for the budding future Olympian, our support will go into funding a safe track environment with professional training, coaching, mentoring and advice for all young children in the local area in Hastings.

The club’s mission is as follows:

  • To provide free training for all kids, including track hire, coaching, mentoring and advice
  • To actively look to get more kids on board, particularly from deprived areas
  • To promote and encourage young talents
  • To give all a club shirt and more importantly a club identity
  • To run competitions, have prizes and incentives
  • To train more coaches as required
