Caroline Completes London Marathon

Amidst the thousands of runners that make up the London Marathon, this year’s event included Caroline Bell.

Having been unsuccessful gaining a place in previous years, Caroline was thrilled to finally secure entry with the charity Children with Cancer UK, and we were more than happy to support her with a substantial donation to help her reach her target.

Despite picking up an injury in the Hastings Marathon just weeks before Caroline said she was absolutely determined to complete the event, “My foot was sore by the 8th mile so with 18 more to go it was tough, but the crowds and atmosphere are incredible and really spur you on, along with thoughts of the charity you’re running for.”

Well done Caroline – what determination!
