Bet on a Great Day
You can bet on a great day at Brighton Races, and the 2019 Park Lane Group event didn’t disappoint.
Over 50 guests enjoyed fantastic hospitality and superb horseracing.
Renowned trainer John Gallagher shared his tips and the 4pm Park Lane Group Handicap saw the favourite Charles Kingsley secure a strong win. Ahead of the same race, Russell Beswick, CEO of The Park Lane Group, and family presented ‘Best Turned Out’ for the beautifully presented Gendarme.
The day concluded with an auction which raised money for two Hastings charities. Over £7,000 will go to Taylor-Made Dreams and Charity for Kids. Our thanks go to all of our guests for their generosity and to Brighton Racecourse.
We were delighted to receive this letter of thanks from His Highness Sheikh Mohammad Al Maktoum, founder of Godolphin. Godolphin is home to Charles Kingsley and the world’s largest thoroughbred horseracing and breeding team with racing stables and breeding studs in the UK, US, Australia, France, Ireland and Japan.
Next up – the Soapbox Kart Challenge which will see Russell and Oliver Beswick compete at Dunorlan Park on 8th June. Their endeavours to complete this crazy downhill course will add to the funds for these two deserving local charities.
