Support for SANDS from The Park Lane Group

The Park Lane Group Giveaway has made a final pledge to the Hastings and East Sussex SANDS unit at the Conquest Hospital, concluding a fantastic campaign to mark their 30th Anniversary. SANDS (Stillbirth & Neonatal Death charity) supports those affected by the death of a baby and works in partnership with health professionals to help parents and families receive the best possible care. The unit at the Conquest Hospital is currently fundraising to refurbish the maternity bereavement suite to transform it from a clinical environment to a home from home setting. The donation will make a real difference to their fundraising. Ben Hall is pictured (left) proudly presenting the cheque. Ben is the son of Richard Hall to whom the Community Giveaway is in tribute to. Richard was a former member of the team who passed away unexpectedly two years ago. Also pictured, from left to right, are student midwife Hannah Gerken who applied to the fund, with Lorna Paszke, matron, Tonia Dunn, midwife, and Kirsty Milward, bereavement midwife. The Park Lane Group Community Giveaway has now closed and seen over £10,000 donations to individuals, groups and charities in the local area with fantastic support from the Observer series. Following this final donation, the Rt. Hon MP for Hastings & Rye Amber Rudd, took the time to write to The Park Lane Group in  January 2018 about our Community Giveway initiative. A copy of her letter can be viewed here.

Letter from Amber Rudd to The Park Lane Group

30 YearsWe’re proud to be celebrating 30 years this year, having grown from a single property development in 1987 to become one of the largest independent housebuilders in the area. Managing everything from property sales to our rental and maintenance service makes us a little different, but we believe it is our commitment to remaining local and serving the communities in which we also live and work that really sets us apart.
